Fouls and Penalty Kick
The referee awards a penalty kick for a penal foul committed by the defending team within the penalty area. Penalty kicks will always be taken from a point 12 yards from the goal, directly in front of the goal. On some WSSL fields, this may be outside the penalty area. See the divisional rules for modifications.
Game Duration
Referees will end each game before the next game is scheduled to begin. If a game begins late, the referee will inform both coaches that the game will be shortened.
Please Note
Field and team sizes may differ from AYSO, US Soccer Federation or FIFA rules.
